History:
Pat was performing one night in a patriotic amateur stage show, and on her way home, while wearing her costume from the show, she was accosted at gun point.  She quickly subdued her attacker and decided to investigate suspicious activities.  When Pat uncovered a smuggling operation, she called in the police, and ultimately managed to capture the ring leader by herself.  The story made the headlines and the courageous young girl in the patriotic outfit captured the imagination of a desperate nation.  Pat agreed to become a government spokeswoman to keep up moral, and she joined the U.S.O.  However, her efforts made her a target for anti-American forces, and she frequently found herself in trouble, even when she didn't go looking for it.

Equipment and Abilities:
Patriot was an exceptional hand to hand combatant, who was very resourceful in using objects as weapons.  She was even known to pick up a gun on occasion, though she never carried her own.  In addition to her combat abilities, she was a talented actor, speaker, singer, dancer and acrobat.  Perhaps her greatest gift was her unshakable faith, convictions and courage.

Mike was Pat's boyfriend for a time.  He was handy in a fight, but eventually Pat broke up with him, because he did not approve of the risks she took.
