Creatures of Myth
There are at least 1000 different named creatures from myths and legends. Ghosts, Goblins, Elves, Fairies, Dragons, Chimeras, Demons, Cryptozological Animals, and other, more unique and bizzare creatures inhabit the tales of yore. Trying to detail any significant number of them on this website, would be a job in itself. The best thing I can do is to give you some links to sites that are dedicated to the bestiaries of myth. The Free Universe will only detail creatures from more contemporary stories, but there is a rich variety of additional creatures to be found on these excellent sites:
